Metal Office.

The 'Metal Office' at the Dynamic Tools Corporation, designed specifically to promote a mood of meditation, Japan. Created by architect Takashi Yamaguchi, the entire space is clad in metal, hence the name, including galvanized steel for the exterior, and polished aluminum plates for the flooring. The lighting is carefully designed to bring visitors in first to an entrance with enveloping light, then up a dark staircase to allow the eyes to become accustomed to dimness, and then finally into the soft, subdued lighting of the upper floor offices.
