16074.01 Mihara garden
The view of the garden from the traditional tea ceremony room (or chashitsu) of a modern Japanese home in Mihara, Kanto (south of Osaka). Designed by architect Chitoshi Kihara and garden designer Yasujirou Aoki, the view of the garden with the curved-wall is precisely controlled by means of sliding shoji screens, where one is deliberately never able to see a full view of the single camellia (Camellia wabisuke) outside.
