Men of the Dani tribe in Irian Jaya gather for a demonstration in Wamena, the principal town of the highlands, in the Baliem Valley. The traditional men's dress is no more than a shaped gourd used as a penis sheath, or horim (called koteka in Indonesian) tied around the testicles at the base, sometimes with a cord securing the tip to the man's chest.
