Lushi market
Morning market in Lushi, an old town on the Tea-Horse route, in the hills north of the Mekong, near Fengqing, southern Yunnan.
The morning market in Lushi, a reflection of the days when merchants from as far as Sichuan and Guizhou established shops and guilds in the town. Lushi was the most important town on what was known as the Shunning Tea Road (Shunning was the county name until it was changed to Fengqing in 1954).
