Hong Huang Apartment

HONG HUANG APARTMENT (BEIJING) An apertment in Northeast Beijing at the heart of the booming Chinese contemporary art scene, in an East German designed block of the Communist era. It consists of an open-space office and living area and a glass-walled nursery, behind which is a master bedroom. Structural changes were kept to a minimum and the majority of the furniture is portable. One dominant feature is the .separation of dining and living areas by four rotating iron screens, each constructed of three canvas panels.
