Kapa Bambu
Kapal Bambu, a jewellery showroom built improbably in a rice terrace for jewellery manufacturer John Hardy in Bali. The 13-metre tall structure, designed by Cheong Yew Kuan, has a framework of tall bamboo, thatched with local alang alang grass, and was inspired by inidgenous architecture of the archipelago. The underground area is moisture-proffed with a rendering of beeswax.
