Fire
Dining room of Fire, a modern Indian restaurant in Delhi’s Park Hotel, India. Designed by Conran & Partners, it follows the Hindi concept of the Five Elements, the Panch Maha Bhutas. these are sky, air, fire, water, and earth. A 12 metre curved wall separates the restaurant from the bar, Agni, next door. A triple laminate of acrylic, each sheet carrying a different stylized flame motif appears to glow and flicker as the lighting cycles between the layers.
