Shanghai lane house
Conversion of a double-bayed 1930s lane house in Nanhui Road, Shanghai, by sciskewcollaborative (Singapore architects Koon Wee and I-Shin Chow). Completed 2007. Both front and back entrances have been reworked to combine wooden and mosaic pathways that interlock and feature curving slopes and cutaways.
