Ryumontei Garden
The Zen garden of Ryumontei, or Dragon Gate, t Gion-ji temple in Mito, was designed by Shunmyo Masuno. The prominent upright stone on the left represents the priest Shinetsu telling the Chinese parable of the carp to an audience that includes the Vice-Shogun Mitomitsukuni, who is symbolized by the pyramidal stone near the far wall.
