Ellsworth apartment
Living room in the apartment of art dealer and collector Robert H Ellsworth, in Manhattans' Fifth Avenue. By the doorway is a pair of mountain landscape by Fu Bao Shih, 1940. The Chinese carpet is late 17th centuary/early 18th centuary. The barrel stool is made of laohuali, a tipe of rosewood. Such stools were originally made of bamboo, hence their shape. New York. USA
