Kurland office
A Beverly Hills lawyer's office in Chinese scholar's study style. The deep turquoise of this office was chosen for walls and carpet to complement and set off the rich tones of the classical Ming desk and chairs made of hong mu, a red hardwood. It features a 19th century hing mu desk with cracked ice panels below, four horseshoe-back Ming chairs with contemporary padded cushions, a spindle-back settee in hong mu, and huanghuali document box on a modern marble coffee table.
