Jokhang well
Tibetan pilgrims listening at the opening of a well for the mythical angba bird in Lake Wothang, supposedly beneath the temple in the Kyilkhor Thil (the central section), the Jokhang, Lhasa, Tibet. The Jokhang temple is the spiritual centre of Tibetan Buddhism, built in 647 by Songtsen Gampo, and lies at the center of old Lhasa.
