Jhaveri
A spacious modern apartment in Hill Park, Malabar Hill, Mumbai, India. The centre piece is by contemporary Indian sculptor Mrinalini Mukherjee who works with intricately knotted hemp ropes in earthy colours in forms that convey a strong sexuality through phallic shapes and mysterious folds. On the wall behind is a painting by the Punjabi artist Manjit Bawa, known best for his Hindu mythological figures and Sufi legends depicted against a single strong colour.
