Hashimoto House
Tab and mizubachi in a house in Setagaya, Tokyo, designed by the owner, designer Yukio Hashimoto. The aim was to combine privacy with openness on a small plot, achieved by a decked courtyard onto which the living area opens fully, with high exterior walls to block the view of the city surroundings while allowing maximum exposure to the sky.
