Duck River

The family shrine beneath a skylight in a modern Japanese home, named ‘Duck Stream House’, in Sapporo, Hokkiado, Japan. Design by architect Shigeharu Isaka. The gold flecked pattern of the srhine’s doors are carried over into similar decoration on the fusuma, or sliding doors.
