Canadian Embassy
The Canadian Embassy, Canada garden designed by Shunmyo Masuno in Tokyo. The large stones, roughly hewn and with rows of wedge holes left untouched, symbolize the geologically ancient Canadian Shield. The Rocky mountains are represented by the pyramids in the distance. To symbolize the relationship betwen the two counties, he decided on two linked gardens, around the corner is a still pond that represents the Pacific Ocean.
