Calke Abbey
The Georgian State Bed in its original box from St. James's Palace. Although it arrived at the house in 1734 as a wedding gift from the royal family, the bed was never slept in. Calke Abbey, an English stately home in Derbyshire, furnished and arranged precisely as it was on the death of Sir John Harpur-Crewe in 1886. Now owned by the National Trust.
