Koya-san
Small statue of Kobo-Daishi, founder of the Shingon sect of esoteric Buddhism, at Torodo, Okuno-in, at Koya-san, Japan. The master died in 835 AD but is considered to be in perpetual meditation, receiving food every day for 12 centuries.
