Lushi
Lushi, an old town on the Tea-Horse route, in the hills north of the Mekong, near Fengqing, southern Yunnan.
Now relatively isolated in the hills north of the Mekong in Fengqing County, the town of Lushi was an important trading post on a western branch of the road. Founded in 1302, its position near the junction of the Hei Hui River with the Mekong was strategic. When the Qinglong Bridge was built in 1761, more and more caravans took this route.
