Kuan
This peculiar tea-ceremony room, with the name Kuan, was designed by Terunobu Fujimori. The tea house is supported on the forks of an old chestnut tree. A ladder at right provides access through a floor hatch. The room laid out for senchdo, the informal tea style. Kyoto, Japan.
