Tea picking on Phoenix Mountain
Wu Dong Cun tea picking. These villages are at nearly 1000m, and the best Dan Cong is from up here (basically, the higher the better). The trees are also noticeably taller than at lower elevations, and all the pickers carry either plastic stools to stand and reach the top leaves, or aluminium stepladders for the even taller bushes.
