Entitled "Abstraction Garden" by its designer, an sculptor and potter Kazumasa Ohira, this arragement of stones and gravel, flanked by two opposing trees, is a study in focused composition. At the centre is a ceramic water vessel, smaler than the other elements, but ultimately the strongest feature. Granite pebbles form the base of a glass-fronted display space backed by galvanised iron, that is used to present individual works of art, like a small garden gallery. Kibugawa. Japan
