Entrance tunnel of a modern Indian country retreat on the outskirts of Ahmedabad in Gujarat, India. Topped with a granite roof, the walkway is punctuated with lights of twisted copper tubes with a steel door at the end and chiselled granite walls. Throughout the house, Architect Aniket Bhagwat combined bright colours and a variety of material finishes to give it brightness, energy and a rustic-but-modern feeling. Miniature halogen capsule lamps at the ends of twisted copper tubing make a sculpture that illuminates the corridor.
