The Soft and Hairy House, a modern Japanese home in the new Tsukuba Science City in Japan designed by architectural partnership of Ushida and Kathryn Findlay. Wedged between two wings of a house is a surreal Dali-like egg-shaped bathroom with portholes, emerging into the courtyard. Its interior is lined with small circular rubberised tiles.
