City Hall
County Hall, on the River Thames opposite Westminster, London. Designed in 1908 by Ralph Knott, it was not completed until 1922. The central colonnaded arc, 700 feet in diameter, make it still one of London's most distinctive buildings. Its many additions have all been in style. It was the headquarters of the Greater London Council until 1986..
