Tao Apartment, Beijing, designed by Zhang Zi Hui and Chen Yi Lang. Conversion of a 4-bedroom space into a single-bedroom home, allowing more area for entertainment, study and living. Wall clad in diagonally laid timber and embedded with lights facing the apartment entrance - a modern version o fthe traditional use of an entrance wall in Chinese courtyard houses to ward off evil spirits.
