Nubian pyramids
Pyramids and offertory chapel at the royal necropolis of the southern capital of the Kingdom of Kush near Bejrawia. The steep-sided pyramids were built over the burial chambers of the rulers. They are at the Royal Necropolis of the ancient Kingdom of Kush, dated between 300 BC and 300 AD, at Meroe, near Bejwaria, Sudan (about 200 km north of Khartoum).
