Kubo house
House in Habikigaoka, Kansai, Japan, archietc Akira Sakamoto, with garden design by Toshiya Ogino. The white minimalist style is complemented by sparse and highly sculptural plantings. In the main courtyard, elegant simplicity is achieved with an area of raised decking, a pebble-bordered lawn, white walls, with three young maples to provide the verticals.
