Montreuil-sur-mer Chateau

The Chateau, Montreuil-sur-mer, Pas-de-Calais, Normandy, France. A medieval walled town that was formerly a port until the estuary silted up. I twas besieged many times, including during the Hundred Year War and later by Henry VIII and Charles V of Spain. It was the setting for Victor Hugo's Les Miserables.
