Kanda Nest
'Kanda Nest', a miniature 'earth house' built into the top floor of a downtown Tokyo office block. Designed by architect owner Mirai Tono, the curved walls are of mud and straw, shaped over steel netting into organic forms. The earthen shell allows space for concealed ceiling lighting to soften the lighting.
