Lai family house, Nan Men Jie (South Gate Street), old town Wuyishan. 5th generation tea growers, this Qing dynasty house was one of several built on the wealth they accrued through tea, but with the revolution this was the only one they dared admit to owning, of rear of being classed as capitalists/landlords. Lai Zhong (married to tea maker/master Xu Mao Xing) drinking tea with her father.
