Hayama House
The Hayama, Kanagawa, Japan, by architect Kaho Sato. The very constricted space, on a V-shaped plot at an intersection, prompted Sato to create a landmark, using wraparound cladding of red cedar, and arranging the house vertically. Th einterior is also designed to accomodate the owner's Art Deco and post-modern furniture and decorations.
