Buckskin Gulch
Buckskin Gulch, on eof the world's longest slot canyons, 13 miles long and one of the flash-flood tributaries of the Paria River, at Arixona Strip, Utah, USA. The deep canyon offers a cross-section of the sandstone geology of the Colorado Plateau, including the red Navajo sandstone beds. A tree trunk jammed high up shows the depth of water during flash floods.
