Lake House
A diagonally sited concrete wall clad with red sandstone at the entrance to the courtyard of a modern Indian home in Udaipur is a contemporary interpretation of the traditional modh, or baffle wall that shields the view of interior spaces from the outside. The design, by Rajiv Saini, contains a water spout in the form of a brass cow’s head.
