Covering 1200 square metres, the huge concret vaulted-and-ribbed central hall rises to nine metres. It was original Factory 798 making electronics, the brutalist finish of the interior retains old slogans painted in red-"Long live Chairman Mao" and "Great Leader", it is now a gallery as well as an exhibition space.
